The beloved Graydon Skincare.
With the May promotion happening right now until the end of May (buy ANY 2 products and receive a FREE 10ml Fullmoon Serum), I thought I would take advantage and dive a little deeper into why I love the brand.
Graydon Skincare holds a very special place in my heart. It was the first natural skincare line that I had tried when making the transition and it was the first line that I had brought into the shop upon opening. What I love most about Graydon is their products deliver results and their transparency in sourcing ingredients, two very important steps to the Urban Daisy approval process.
You, loves know how important it is to me that when ingredients are being used, that they are being sourced in a sustainable manner. Fun little fact: Graydon Skincare sources all of their ingredients from Canadian Provinces. For example the kale oil and meadowfoam are sourced right here in Prince Edward Island. The wild carrot oil, maple sap and cranberry bogs are sourced from Quebec. In Manitoba, the hemp seed is produced. In BC the glacial clay is sourced and in Fraser Valley the raspberry, blueberry and broccoli seed oil are sourced. These ingredients are not common or easy to find, but they lend a hand in creating spectacular product quality and functionality. Let's dive into the products and their deets!
Beginning with the cleanser, Face Foam.
Face Foam is a gorgeous, luscious foaming cleanser that is hydrating not stripping. We are so accustom to foaming cleansers leaving our skin tight and dry but this all ends here with the Blue Majik Face Foam.
Skin Type: For all skin types │Especially those with sensitive skin
Product Deets: Dermatologist tested, hypo-allergenic, non-irritating. This gentle, oil free unscented cleanser works effectively to prevent buildup in pores, remove makeup and balance PH without drying or stripping the skin.
Key Ingredients:
Azelaic Acid │brightens and evens out skin tone
Apple Cider Vinegar │helps balance PH levels
White Willow Bark │gently exfoliates the skin with naturally containing salicylic acid
Diving into the next starlight product and my personal favourite, The Face Food mineral mist.
Skin Type: For all skin types
Product Deets: A multi-purpose mineral to tone, hydrate and refresh the skin. Toners are the ultimate way to get the most out of your favourite serum, facial oil or moisturizer. Spritz away all day everyday!
Key Ingredients:
Magnesium│soothing, balancing and redness reducing
Copper│ helps stimulate your skins production of collagen
Silver│effectively penetrates skin cells to help ward off bacteria
Zinc│helps decrease inflammation and assists in minimizing blotchy red skin
Next up is serums. Graydon Skincare has two star serums that are sure to not disappoint, beginning with The Superfood Serum.
Skin Type: All skin types
Product Deets: Jam packed with skin loving superfoods, including cold-pressed raspberry, blueberry and cranberry seed oil from Canada's own Fraser Valley. This potent serum is also blended with with kale oil - grown right here in Prince Edward Island.
Key Ingredients:
Prickly Pear Seed Oil │naturally occurring carotenoids, vitamin C, and flavonoids, this skin toning oil contains powerful antioxidants.
Goji Seed Oil│helps guard the skin from free radical damage and resists signs of aging.
Red Raspberry Seed Oil│slows skin aging by defending against extrinsic stress, keeping skin looking youthful longer.
Sasha Inchi│helps smooth dry, red, irritated skin.
The next star serum is The Fullmoon Serum, the beloved anti-aging serum. While I don't like to use the term "anti-aging" ( I believe aging is beautiful) this serum certainly helps bring the appearance of the skin back a few years.

Product Deets: A luxurious vegan 'water serum' loaded with all your favourite actives that help reduce the appearance of aging.
Key Ingredients:
Collagen│ protein rich extract from African mahogany to help minimize pores and provide a firm texture.
Hyaluronic Acid│from Indian senna to help improve the appearance of dry skin by boosting hydration.
Oligopeptides│enriched amino acids to replenish & restore the look of your skins natural health
Anti-Pollution│moringa extract to battle signs of stressed skin exposed to environmental pollution.
Retinol│ from the seeds of the moth bean plant to help correct the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Vitamin C│rich moringa lead to brighten the appearance of your skins complexion.
Moving onto Moisturizers.

Skin Stuff : Ceramide to the rescue with this skin loving moisturizer, its light and invisible texture, this cream will help support renewal of the skins protective layer, while protecting against moisture loss. This cream is perfect for the most sensitive of skins, formulated without essential oils or fragrance. Infused with a botanical ceramide, Skin Stuff helps to improve your skin barrier function, calm inflammation and help visibly reduce fine lines and wrinkles.
Phyto Clear: Infused with two plant-based retinols, this nourishing superfood-packed cream has a light, gel- light texture to gently clear congested skin, help alleviate the appearance of acne scars, restore bounce and reveal smoother brighter skin. This cream is amazing for acne prone, oily skin, or even as a spot treatment. Say good-bye acne!
Berry Rich: Did you say dehydrated? For those of you who are hella-dry, this is the cream for you. This velvety-rich formula includes vegan probiotics to nourish and boost skin health while the addition of blueberry seed oil brings your skin back up to speed. You can say good-bye to those dry flakes! Pro-Tip: add a couple spritz of the Face Food toner with this guy. This will help the product spread over the skin more evenly and expand the products use.
The Putty: If you are dealing with inflamed skin or overexposed to the elements (sun, wind, or cold), this super-soothing moisturizer helps protect and soothe your skin. This is the product my hubby uses as he is exposed to the daily elements on the daily, working outside. The putty is made with a propriety blend of healing ingredients, helping to reduce redness and skin irritation. Those of you who have been experiencing skin issues such as eczema, psoriasis, rosacea and dermatitis, this is the cream for you!
Last but certainly not least is the VERY first product I had tried from Graydon Skincare. This products is the #1 in the green beauty world and is one that I use every single day as part of my makeup routine .... The Face Glow.
Face Glow: Your complexion will love soaking in the luxury with this moisturizing/ Illuminating tinted primer. This multi-tasking dynamo also doubles as an illuminator, and highlighter for an elegant "no makeup" makeup look. This lightweight formula delivers brightening and highlighting effects for an overall dewy, healthy-looking radiance. This is my FAVOURITE product and I think you, loves will love it too!
